The Details and Stats on Starter Packs and SE Ships

Out of all the big announcements this week for Crypto Space Commander one of the most anticipated was the release of SE Ships and Starter Packs. With the release of these starter packs any commander is now able to easily jump into the CSC universe using a variety of payment methods, from Credit Cards to Paypal and, of course, Ethereum.

In addition to being purchasable, early adopters of CSC who have bought crates received starter packs based on their level of Spending:

  • >$10 of crates bought would earn you one Founders Starters Pack

  • >$40 of crates bought would earn you one Founders Starters Pack and one Explorers pack

  • >$100 crates bought would earn you one Founders Starters Pack, one Explorers pack and one adventurers pack

Because of the influx of these starter packs into the community we are likely to see MANY giveaways via Twitter and DLive streams in the coming weeks. Make sure to follow us on twitter for giveaway updates and also check out our streamers directory for CSC Streams. You can also join the discord to get alerts when streamers go live. Now time to dive into the details!

There are 3 Levels of Starter Packs: Founders, Explorer and Adventurer. The contents and costs of each are as follows:

The Founders Starter Pack is the most basic but equips a commander with the basic necessities for mining and combat. It starts at 999 GFC or $9.99, you can purchase it via Credit Card, Paypal and Ethereum. Sign-up for CSC and access the store here.

In comparison a similar starting module set of normal modules would cost 0.02 - 0.05 ETH or $5 - $10. A typical Intrepid-Class MP ship has 8-10 module slots and 3-4 hardpoints. Intrepid Class MPs typically go for approximately 0.15 ETH or about $25. You can see the current Intrepid-class MP ships available on OpenSea here.

The Explorer Starter Pack is the mid-range pack and provides the commander with a Corsair-class ship and 4 more modules than the Founder Starter Pack. The Corvette SE provides a larger platform to grow with than the Vanguard SE and is a solid all-around ship. The Explorer Starter Pack is available for 2999 GFC or $29.99. Sign-up for CSC and access the store here.

The Adventurer Starter Pack is the top tier pack and provides the commander with a Corsair-class ship and 3 more modules than the Founder Starter Pack. The Adventurer Starter Pack is available for 5999 GFC or $59.99. Sign-up for CSC and access the store here.

In comparison a similar starting module set of normal modules would cost 0.08 - 0.15 ETH or $15 - $30. A Voyager MP has 7 hardpoints and 26 module slots and goes for approximately 0.25 - 0.35 ETH or about $55-75. You can see the current Voyager MP ships available on OpenSea here.
